2026 NWANA Open 20K Nordic Walking Series

The NWANA Winners Circle honors the approved category winners from each stage of the 2026 NWANA Open 20K Nordic Walking Series.

This page is designed to celebrate achievement, preserve the official season record, and recognize the athletes who rise to the challenge of the longest distance currently contested in the NWANA Open Series.

Each athlete competes within a Performance Level. A Competition Category combines Performance Level and Gender, such as Elite Men or Open Women.

For the 20K Series, the Performance Levels are:
Elite (< 2:20:00)
High Performance (< 2:30:00)
Performance (< 2:40:00)
Open (2:40:00+)

If athletes are tied on points in the season standings, the fastest single approved time within that Performance Level is used as the tiebreaker.

Stage 2 — August 16, 2026

Stage 2 added another completed 20K performance to the season record. Albert Fatikhov returned to the distance and finished in 2:51:25, recording the first Open Men result of the 2026 20K Series.

Two stages are now complete, and the 20K season record already spans two Performance Levels. Each completed stage adds another benchmark to the longest distance in the 2026 NWANA Series.

Stage 1 — July 19, 2026

The 20K season opened with its first official long-distance benchmark. Albert Fatikhov completed the inaugural stage in 2:45:08, establishing the opening Competitive Men mark for the 2026 season.
